Outbound Forced
TLS
Banks may require forced outbound TLS from their
business relations. Often this represents a nightmare
for admins. Many mail server can't do it for individual
domains. An all or none solution may not work for your
enviroment. XWall offers a tailored solution you can
implement in minutes.

A few Simple Steps
While XWall is foremost a spam filter is has
a lot of outbound control features. You can add a disclaimer
to every outgoing email. You can force a special routing
for outgoing email based on domain and you can force
TLS by domain.
For the guys only interested in these features here
is the quick way to setup XWall for outbound only
- Download XWall here
- Install XWall on any machine (mail server or different
box)
- Start XWall admin
- Under VIEW-Domains On Exchange
add all your domains handled by your mail server (XWall
works with Groupwise, Notes and most other mail servers.
Not just Exchange.

FQDN)
- Under Options-General-Exchange

Statistics you can enable SMTP send stats.
This will allow you to see what XWall sends out in
an easy spread sheet format.
- Apply the changes and exit the admin.
- Use notepad and open the xwall.ini
file in the XWall folder
- add the line
- OutboundSMTPTLSReqired=Bankofamerica.com
- you can add as many lines/domains as you
need.
- Save the ini file
- Go to your mail server and
tell it to use a smathost (point it to the
XWall installation)
- Start The XWall server application. Once you confirm
everything is working you can install XWall as a service.

a TLS certificate
